The Situation

Hanz de Fuko was born in the heart of San Francisco’s Mission District in February of 2009. Founders David Alfonso and Christopher Zent were creative renegades eager to challenge the status quo. The concept was to create amazing, one of a kind hair care products that would also serve as a wonderful testament to the artist in all of us. HDF came to ATAK on a rocky foundation, unable to implement Magento site updates the company’s rapid growth demanded.

The Solution

To accelerate Hanz De Fuko’s ecommerce store, we had to place their site on a stronger infrastructure. After fixing bugs, streamlining the checkout process, and implementing much needed Magento security patches, ATAK shifted its focus to conversion optimization. We integrated better promotion tools, more advanced ad network tracking, and amplified Google Analytics. Once the site was secure, measurable, and optimized, we developed a Google AdWords campaign that increased traffic and sales, providing the company with a 700% ROI over Q4 of 2016 and Q1 of 2017.
